We are looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early learning and supporting young children to thrive both academically and emotionally.
The Role:
1. Supporting pupils in Reception or KS1, both 1:1 and in small groups
2. Assisting the class teacher with daily learning activities
3. Supporting early phonics, literacy, and numeracy development
4. Helping children with emotional regulation, routines, and transitions
5. Creating a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
6. Experience working with EYFS or KS1 pupils
7. A warm, patient, and encouraging approach
8. Confident supporting children with additional needs (SEN experience desirable)
9. Strong communication and teamwork skills
10. A genuine passion for helping young learners grow in confidence
