Plant Fitter / Mechanic – Join the Beechwood Team
Coventry-based | Full-time | 7:00am – 5:00pm | Company vehicle provided
Beechwood Trees and Landscapes Ltd is looking for a skilledPlant Fitter / Mechanicto maintain, service, and repair our wide range of arboricultural and landscaping machinery – from chainsaws and hedge trimmers to excavators and large plant.
What you'll be doing:
* Carrying out regular servicing and maintenance of equipment at our depot and on-site
* Responding to machinery breakdowns and carrying out emergency repairs in the field
* Diagnosing faults quickly and safely, keeping downtime to a minimum
* Keeping service records up to date and working with our operations team to plan preventative maintenance
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in maintaining small tools and larger plant machinery (chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, excavators, etc.)
* Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Self-motivated and organised with a can-do attitude
