Green Energy Solar is expanding, and we're looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Cardiff.
In this role, you'll play a key part in helping customers make the switch to solar. Using a consultative, solutions-based approach, you'll guide domestic and commercial clients through the process, turning enquiries into installs and building strong, lasting relationships along the way.
What you’ll do:
* Respond to inbound enquiries and proactively identify new business opportunities.
* Make outbound calls and send emails to generate interest and book consultations.
* Manage your sales pipeline and keep CRM records up to date (We use Monday).
* Hit individual and team targets while helping us grow sustainably.
* Confidently discuss our range of solar, battery and EV charging solutions.
* Build rapport quickly using a friendly, honest and expert approach.
* Creating customer quotes using OpenSolar.
What we’re looking for:
* 1+ years’ experience in a desk-based sales role (B2C or B2B).
* Proven ability to generate leads, close deals and exceed targets.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Resilient, confident, self-motivated and excited by growth and renewables.
Desirables:
* Experience using OpenSolar.
* Experience with solar energy systems and related technologies.
