Cancer Pathway Navigator - Band 4
Fixed Term / Secondment – until 31st March 2026
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking for the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment. You will support the Urology Service within the Surgical Care Division.
You will be adaptable and provide an efficient coordination and administration support to the specialist nursing and medical teams within Urology. This will include the administration support for the Urology Cancer Patient. You will also be required to gather information, provide reporting data, and work closely with the Urology Cancer Care Coordinator. The postholder will also provide cover for other members of the administration team in periods of leave and absence.
Applicants should possess excellent communication skills along with a high level of literacy and numeracy skills. Excellent organisation and coordination skills are required. You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software including MS Teams and be open to learning new local systems. You should hold a secretarial or administrative qualification to HND level or have relevant proven and demonstrable experience of working within a busy office environment.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Hours of work are: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Current NHS Tayside Employees - Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
