Job Description Deputy Children’s Home Manager – Up to £37,000 We are recruiting a Deputy Children’s Home Manager for a therapeutic children’s residential home supporting young people with complex needs, including Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). You will work closely with the Home Manager to lead the staff team, support day-to-day operations, and ensure high standards of care and safeguarding. You will ideally have: A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Children’s Residential Care Around two years’ experience in a senior or leadership role within a children’s residential setting A good understanding of therapeutic care and EBD Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills A full driving licence and access to a car What You’ll Do Support the Home Manager with daily operations and staff supervision Lead shifts, coach staff, and help maintain high standards of care Remain hands-on, supporting young people directly Ensure safeguarding, compliance, and quality standards are met Contribute to care planning, reviews, and assessments Work collaboratively with external professionals and families What Happens After You Apply Applications are reviewed promptly.
