Team Leader
A well‑established recycling company based in Sittingbourne is looking to add an experienced Team Leader to its team on a permanent basis.
Role Overview
You will lead a small team and manage them in all aspects of the job to ensure production and efficiency targets are met, as well as adhering to health and safety standards and ensuring safe work practices.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with your team, leading by example
* Manage safe working practices and quality control
* Mentor and induct new operatives to ensure workforce effectiveness
* Ensure production targets are met
Qualifications
* Previous experience of leading a team
* Proven ability in achieving production targets
* Computer literate (Microsoft Excel)
* Have forklift licence or willing to learn
* Good knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, ideally in the waste industry
Shift Pattern
* 4 on and 5 off (Sunday non‑work day)
* 2 days: 06:00 to 18:00
* 2 days: 18:00 to 06:00
Pay Rate
£16.80 PH.
