Are you an experienced Plumber with your gas safe registration card? Our client is looking for a Plumber to join their team working in Manchester City Centre! This is a 3 month temporary role with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
Job Title: Prison Plumber
Role Specific Requirement:
* Required checks EL1 or EL2
* Full Driving Licence
* Appropriate trade qualification
* Gas safe registration card
* Legionella Control (L8)
Please note, due to the nature of these roles it is a requirement for all candidates to undergo National Security Vetting. For this, it is a requirement to have a minimum of 3 years' continuous residency within the UK.
Main Purpose: To ensure the Planned Preventative Maintenance programme is completed in line with specifications and Work Packages. Please note, this role will be working within a prison environment.
* 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, working 7.5 hour shift per day between the hours of 7am - 5pm.
Person Requirements:
Experience:
* Maximo maintenance system experience or similar package
* Experience in operating light plant
Responsibilities:
* Routine and non-routine maintenance
* Fault finding
* Identification of life expired equipment
* Check, repair and make good faults and life expired equipment
* Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment
* Mains water supply repairs
* Ensure all works are carried out to the highest safety standards and to agreed method statements
* Minimise wastage and continually improve processes
* Ensure statutory works are carried out to time and that work is compliant
