The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader for our client based in Guildford, Normandy.

You will be working 8 hour shifts a day between the hours of 6am to 6pm
Paid 40 hours per weekPay:
£28,500 pa
£13.70 per hour
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Team Leader:
Supervise and lead warehouse staff, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring accurate tracking and control of stock levels.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in warehouse distribution and operations.
Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely processing of orders.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor workflow and manage inventory effectively.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards within the warehouse.
Conduct regular training sessions for team members on materials handling and equipment operation, including forklift usage.
Manage logistics related to e-commerce fulfilment, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Perform heavy lifting as needed, assisting with the movement of products throughout the facility.
Maintain mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
Requirements of the Warehouse Team Leader:
Experience in warehouse supervision is preferred.
Strong knowledge of inventory control methods and logistics operations.
Experience with shipping & receiving procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems is advantageous.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.
Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and engage in physical activities as required by the job.
Forklift licence preferred
