Glasswells is the largest home department store in East Anglia, with locations in Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Haverhill and Saffron Walden. We provide a wide selection of quality home furnishings and flooring to customers throughout the region. We are seeking a confident and approachable individual to lead our Reception team at our busy Ipswich store
This is a full-time position, working any five out of seven days per week as per the agreed rota (Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 6.00pm and Sundays from 10.30am to 4.30pm). The position will require you to work alternate weekends and some bank holidays throughout the year. An enhanced rate will be paid for Sunday and bank holiday working.
Responsibilities include:
· Leading, managing and motivating a small reception team to provide an outstanding service to our customers.
· Dealing with customer enquiries in store, over the telephone, and online.
· Processing orders on our in-house computer system.
· Taking payments and handling cash.
· Arranging deliveries.
· General administrative duties.
A good level of IT Skills are required.
