The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and equipment. Working on a rotating shift pattern, you will be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment Diagnose and repair faults to minimise downtime Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Support continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with health & safety standards at all times Work collaboratively with production teams to optimise performance
Requirements
Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role (electrical & mechanical) Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Experience within manufacturing or heavy industry (steel experience desirable) Ability to work rotating shifts
