Job Description
Working in our SEO team, you’ll be responsible for delivering advanced on-site and off-site SEO across a range of client accounts and industries, including our industry specific beauty division, Foundation, and financial services division, Balance. Reporting to the SEO Team Lead, you’ll work on more complex accounts where a deeper level of experience is required. You’ll contribute to strategic planning, support the creation of performance led roadmaps, and help shape direction across technical SEO, content performance, E-E-A-T, entity development and authority building. You’ll also actively use AI within your workflow (and understand how AI search evolution impacts the future of SEO) to improve research efficiency, insight generation and campaign direction.
You’ll work collaboratively with the SEO Team Lead, Head of Organic Search and other key disciplines such as Social Media, Digital PR, Paid Media and our Content Team, to help ensure our SEO work is integrated, efficient and aligned to commercial outcomes. You’ll support training, provide feedback to SEO specialists, and help uphold quality output across the team.
You will help the Client Services Team to develop opportunities and new business pitches where appropriate, provide client reporting and field technical enquiries regarding SEO. You will monitor and report engagement and online traffic as a result of SEO activity. You will be required to attend relevant meetings located in the UK where necessary.

Core Responsibilities
* Provide knowledge leadership, training and support within the SEO team.
* Perform client, market and competitor research and analysis.
* Participate in the creation of SEO and content campaign planning.
* Plan and execute SEO activity which will have the greatest impact towards helping clients hit their goals and outlined KPIs.
* Assist the SEO Team Lead to develop client-renewal forecasting and KPI creation for clients.
* Deliver activity to improve on-site and off-site optimisation.
* Analyse data to inform future activity and offer recommendations.
* Produce insightful client reports that provide feedback on client’s accounts with recommendations that consider the wider implications for ROI.
* Liaise with clients and attend relevant client meetings where required.
* Aid SEO Team Lead in monitoring the quality of SEO outputs and provide feedback, along with recommendations for opportunities and growth.
* Keep up to date on new industry developments and share best practise with the digital delivery team.
* Accurately record all activity in our project management system and meet given deadlines.
* Manage own self development and maintain an up to date and relevant understanding of digital marketing.
* Help develop opportunities and new business pitches where appropriate.
* Collaborate across multi-disciplines, to promote a culture of shared knowledge and understanding, maintaining best-practice and efficiency.
* Contributing to innovation within the agency.
* Understands how AI and LLMs can be used to enhance SEO research, insight generation and performance direction.
The ideal person
* At least 4 years demonstrable experience of delivering successful SEO campaigns ideally in an agency environment.
* Enthusiastic, motivated and passionate about SEO and digital marketing.
* A strong understanding of SEO best practice and the techniques which can be safely used to improve organic search rankings.
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment.
* Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail with the ability to produce accurate and insightful reports.
* Problem solving skills and adaptability.
* Strong MS Excel skills and be highly numerate.
* Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of at least two of the following industries: Finance, Education, Ecommerce (Retail) or B2B.
* Ideally has experience of regulated industries like Finance and Healthcare.
* Strong understanding of how AI powered search experiences (including SGE) are influencing organic visibility and the future of search.
* An interest in data science.
* A self-starter and self-learner with strong follow-through orientation and commercial awareness.
* The ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision and to proactively spot opportunities and threats in client accounts.
* Experience in training, motivating and supporting colleagues.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
* Understanding of SEO best practice, including both onsite and offsite factors.
* Meticulous eye for detail.
