Bradford Birth to 19 operates from St Edmund’s Nursery School, one of England’s premier providers of Early Education, and professional training for the education sector workforce. Everything we do is about making a difference to children and young people, so that all of them can make the best of their potential.

Recognized for excellence for over a decade, Birth to 19's Institute for the Early Years collaborates extensively with schools and settings, the Department for Education, and Local and Combined Authorities. The organization also runs the innovative "50 Things to Do Before You’re Five" initiative across The British Isles, offering affordable, screen‑free activities for families to support early development and enrich learning experiences. It is designated at the Department for Education's Early Years Stronger Practice Hub for West and South Yorkshire, supporting 1500 early years practitioners to be more confident and skilled in their role.

Birth to 19 Education and Training provides well‑respected initial teacher training and apprenticeship training programmes for well over a hundred people a year. Judged to be very high quality by Ofsted, our offer delivers effective and impactful programmes at scale.

Benefits & Outcomes

Working with us is unique! We are a supportive, values‑driven organisation. We are small enough to be able to innovate quickly, and to ensure all who work with us are valued and nurtured; and large and successful enough to have influence with and be supported by local and national decision‑makers.

The post we are advertising for is a result of sustained growth, and will be a new addition to a growing team.
