The Colorectal Service is looking to recruit a new member of the team to work within our service. You will join the existing admin and management teams as a specialist Patient Pathway Tracker.
This role involves helping to validate waiting lists, correct data, train staff, and assist patients from GP referral to NHS treatment.
It is a computer-based role that requires using electronic data sources to ensure patients' journeys to treatment are timely. You will enter data into our systems and monitor patient progress to ensure safety.
This position is based at St Peter's Hospital and may involve travel to Ashford for training or meetings with the Validation Team.
The Patient Pathway Tracker will manage new and follow-up waiting lists and monitor RTT pathways, ensuring compliance with Referral to Treatment 18-week standards. They will act as a local expert on RTT guidance and focus on tracking overdue follow-ups to prevent 'loss to follow-up'.
You will help ensure patients receive timely treatment through monitoring and auditing elective pathways.
