French speaking Sales, MICE & Events Manager
We are working with a leading global travel and hospitality group to recruit an Indirect Sales & Meetings & Events (M&E) Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales leader to take ownership of trade and MICE sales strategy, manage a talented team, and contribute directly to the company’s ambitious growth across the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Lead and develop a team of 8 sales professionals across trade and MICE channels.
* Drive revenue and market growth through indirect sales (travel agencies, consortia, OTAs) and M&E partners.
* Develop and execute innovative sales strategies and performance objectives.
* Build strong long-term relationships with trade and MICE partners, negotiating commercials and ensuring profitable agreements.
* Oversee MICE sales and event production, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with client expectations.
* Collaborate closely with internal marketing, finance, and operations teams to achieve business goals.
About you:
* Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written).
* Minimum 7 years’ experience in trade/MICE sales, ideally within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
* Proven people management experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Knowledge of e-distribution channels, OTAs, and digital integration tools.
* Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally when required.

* £76,000 base salary + 20% bonus performance based
