Quantity Surveyor
Based: South Brent or Bristol office; Covering our South West region. Working 08:30 – 17:00 Monday – Friday

Within our Tenanted Social Housing Planned refurbishment works programs and some projects such as Kitchen, Bathroom, Window, Doors, Roofing, and Retrofit works, you will work from our office, home, and on-site, collaborating with your team in an inclusive and fair environment.
You will work closely with the Operational teams in South Brent, Bristol, and Yeovil, covering contracts across the region. Your role is to obtain and evaluate information to ensure realistic costs for the supply of works, goods, materials, and services for designated refurbishment/projects. You will liaise with Contractors, Suppliers, and Clients to ensure information, costs, profitability, and value meet project requirements.

Responsibilities:
* Monitor contract progress, assess and report any changes affecting costs and timelines
* Liaise with Contract Managers to establish project specifications
* Value and authorize payments to sub-contractors
* Assist in controlling contract budgets
* Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts
* Prepare and submit monthly payment applications
* Prepare valuation reports and invoices, ensuring timely payments
* Contribute to meetings, building relationships and demonstrating communication skills
* Assist in procurement planning and tender preparations
About You:
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within planned refurbishments in Social Housing
* Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and IT proficiency (MS Office)
* Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
* DBS check required
