The Anticoagulation Support Worker role is to support the Anticoagulation Department, Anticoagulation Practitioners and Anticoagulation Associate Practitioners. To be successful in this role you will require good organisational and communication skills and data inputting skills. Attention to detail is essential as a large portion of work involves typing patient information into the DAWN patient database. A full clean driving license and regular use of your own vehicle is essential. Responsibilities include direct patient contact and taking finger-prick samples using a coagucheck machine determining the patients International Normalisation Ratio (INR). This is performed at community clinics at venues across Mid and East Cheshire and Vale Royal. We also have Anticoagulation Offices based at Leighton and Macclesfield Hospitals.
