We have a vacancy within our Integrated Community Care and Recovery (ICCR) Service working with adults with mental health difficulties in the community. This post will be based at Longbridge Community Mental Health Team in the south area of the city. We are a welcoming and friendly team focused on working with the diverse needs of our clients.
Position
We are looking for a suitably experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (eligibility for entry onto the HCPC Register of Practitioner Psychologists). This post can be offered at Band 8a or a Band 7 preceptorship arrangement depending on experience. Applications from final year trainees are welcome.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a range of clinical services in a multidisciplinary team, including consultation, training, supervision, service development, leadership, and research. Work with service users with complex mental health needs in a community setting, develop complex case assessment, formulation and evidence‑based psychological interventions both individual and group.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience working with service users with complex mental health needs in a community setting. Eligibility for the HCPC Register of Practitioner Psychologists. Experience in consultation, training, supervision, service development and research.
