With a starting salary of up to £40,000, this could be a great step for someone to take on the road to progressing their career within the water industry.
Predominantly field-based with some administrative tasks, your working pattern would be as follows:
* Thursday – Friday 7:30-15:00
As part of your progression and development, you will be included in the Incident Management structure by being added to either the Pollution and Internal Flooding rota or the Field Event Coordinator rota – which will be determined by your Field Performance Manager.
While focusing on site/asset improvements, you will be tasked with finding ways to improve working practices, including the return to service of OOA plant/machinery.
You will deputise for the Field Performance Manager in their absence, ensuring performance continuity, managing leave, and supporting role succession. You will proactively monitor and escalate performance issues while implementing strategic improvements through advice and coaching.
Undertaking audits, you will ensure site compliance by working with operators, explaining expectations and standards, and promoting site cleanliness and performance.
Demonstrating a strong technical and operational background is important, as you will need to understand Health & Safety risks, environmental impacts, and their influence on our work and decision-making to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
The role involves additional responsibilities as you progress, such as managing hazards, contractors, customers, and stakeholders.
Alongside a competitive salary, we offer benefits including:
* All necessary PPE, tools, uniform, and training
* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
* Free annual flu jab and eye test vouchers
* Pension contributions up to 11%
