We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Bury. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a future in teaching or education, offering valuable classroom experience within a supportive school environment.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects
* Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support pupils’ learning
* Assist students with varying abilities, including those with additional needs
* Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
* Gain hands-on experience in a secondary school setting
The Ideal Candidate will have:
* A degree in any subject (core subjects or relevant specialisms desirable)
* A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
* A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach
* Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
