Responsible for spatial data management, map production and the provision of GIS support services for both onshore and offshore environments.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIESManage the timely and accurate delivery of onshore and offshore GIS support services to the project’s various work packages, whilst balancing workload with other GIS Project team members to ensure consistent high-quality output.Project spatial data management within a spatial database including the validation of incoming geophysical / geotechnical survey data and CAD engineering drawings; maintaining spatial data quality standards and metadata; producing technical documentation; building automated spatial data workflows for loading and processing; and providing spatial data deliverables according to required standards.Professional quality map and chart production to meet the needs of the different project departments, ensuring timely delivery in accordance with project cartographic standards and compatibility with the Document Management System and any specific compliance requirements.Key GIS interface with contractors and stakeholders on the project: EIA, land management, offshore survey, geological, etc.Promote good practice in respect to quality, health, safety and environment, including ensuring all project procedures and policies are implemented.ACADEMIC BACKGROUNDA degree in GIS, Geography or other relevant engineering or geographical sciences discipline. A Master’s degree in GIS, preferably.LANGUAGESThe project has an international team of employees, and the working language is English. Candidates need to be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
