Service Advisor
Location: Exeter
Salary: Competitive / DOE (OTE available)
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday with alternate Saturdays
About the Role
We are seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy aftersales department. You will act as the key point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth and professional service experience from booking through to vehicle collection.
Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers and manage service and repair bookings
*
Provide clear explanations of work required, costs, and timescales
*
Liaise closely with workshop technicians to ensure jobs run efficiently
*
Upsell service plans, additional repairs, and products where appropriate
*
Keep customers informed of progress and any additional work required
*
Ensure job cards, invoices, and documentation are accurate and complete
*
Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
*
Deliver exceptional customer service in line with manufacturer standards
About You
*
Previous experience as a Service Advisor (automotive experience preferred)
*
Strong customer service and communication skills
*
Confident, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
*
Good IT skills and experience using dealer management systems
*
Able to upsell in a consultative, customer-first manner
*
Full UK driving licence
