Duties

* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.
* Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and available.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
* Train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
* Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.
Experience
* Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Supervising experience is essential, with a strong ability to lead and motivate a team.
* Extensive knowledge of food production processes, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is required.
* Previous experience in menu planning and development is an advantage.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
