Our client, a wellness agency, is seeking an Account Director to lead client relationships, shape strategic direction, and deliver innovative market access and payer solutions.
This role combines strategic planning with hands-on leadership across diverse projects and teams.
This is a remote, contract role.
Account Director Responsibilities:
* Grow assigned accounts by expanding existing business and securing new opportunities.
* Serve as primary client liaison, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budgets, and performance goals.
* Provide strategic and creative direction while maintaining high service standards.
* Oversee account teams, including creative, editorial, and writing staff.
* Develop budgets, KPIs, and work plans to ensure quality and profitability.
* Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership.
Ideal Account Director Profile:
* 5-7 years in client services, account management, or similar roles.
* Strong background in pharmaceutical or biologic marketing and health care education.
* Proven leadership, strategic planning, and project management expertise.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Deep understanding of creative processes and digital platforms.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and budgetary control.
