Vacancy: Welder/Fabricator
Location: Honiton, Devon
Salary: £31,000-£33,000 per annum DOE
JHP Recruitment are seeking a methodical and innovative Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing and engineering client based in Honiton, Devon on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will have proven experience MIG & TIG welding/fabricating of aluminium and steel with varying thicknesses and will be able to successfully read and interpret engineer drawings.
Main Accountabilities:
* Operating all welding and fabricating equipment correctly and safely
* TIG welding of aluminium (thickness ranging from 1-3mm)
* MIG welding of steel (thickness ranging from 1-3mm)
* Cutting, drilling and sawing metal
* Accurately reading and interpreting engineer drawings
Skills/experience required:
* Minimum of 1 year experience TIG welding
* Good competency of MIG and TIG welding
* Good competency of Sheet Metal Fabrication
* Ability to accurately read machine drawings
* Experience using hand tools
Working hours:
* 07:00-16:00 Monday to Friday
* Early finishes on Fridays
Pay rates:
* £31,000-£33,000 per annum DOE
