We are seeking a Private Tutor to provide high-quality,personalized tuition to students in Years 3-6. As a tutor, you will help students develop their academic skills, build confidence, and achieve their full potential across various subjects. This is a flexible role with hours available on weekdays and weekends, making it ideal for individuals seeking a part-time opportunity.
Responsibilities
* Deliver one-on-one tuition and group sessions to students in Years 3 to 6.
* Focus on areas such as English, Maths, Reasoning, 11+ Exam Preparation, Year 6 SATs exam.
* Provide constructive feedback and monitor progress.
* Motivate and inspire students to achieve academic success.
* Maintain a professional and supportive rapport with students and parents.
* Help students with exam preparation, homework, and coursework.
Experience
* Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children, is essential.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey concepts to students.
* Familiarity with special education practices is desirable but not mandatory.
* A passion for educating and inspiring young minds, with the ability to motivate students towards academic success.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous tutoring experience or a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or similar).
* Ability to teach across multiple subjects (Maths, English, Reasoning, etc.).
* DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
* Experience in preparing students for SATs or 11+ Preparation exams is a plus.
