Ardingly College is seeking to appoint a bank minibus driver to transport students on regular bus routes from Ardingly College.
Applicants are required to fulfil the following criteria in order to be considered for this position:
* hold an endorsement-free UK driving license with Category D1 or Category PCV
* be available to work every weekday when the College is in session (normally 165 days per year)
* have 2 years’ driving experience
The applicant should also be presentable, polite, reliable, punctual and able to work without supervision.
Hours of Work: The hours of work are as and when required on an ad hoc basis. There are no guaranteed minimum hours and no obligation either way to offer or accept hours offered.
Bus Routes Run At The Following Times
Morning route: Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 8.30am during term time only (34 weeks per year)
Afternoon route: Monday to Thursday, 5.15pm to 7.45pm and Friday, 4.15pm to 6.45pm
Rate of Pay: The hourly rate is £12.66. You will be paid for hours worked on submission of a signed timesheet each month. During the holiday year, you will accrue holiday entitlement at the rate of 14.54% for each hour worked (if any). This is added on top of your current hourly rate, making the total £14.50 per hour.
