What you'll do
As Assistant Management Accountant, you will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and assist with the preparation of management accounts and reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with monthly management accounts preparation
* Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
* Performing variance analysis and reporting on key business metrics
* Processing journals and maintaining general ledger entries
* Managing key elements of month-end and year-end close
* Working across departments to support financial decision-making
About you
We're looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow in a busy finance function:
* Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or fully qualified Accounting Technician
* 2+ years' experience in an accounting or finance support role
* Solid understanding of accounting principles and reporting
* Experience preparing accounts to trial balance
* Strong Excel and systems skills
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
