This company, a leading manufacturer who operate within the Aerospace/Defence sector, are looking to recruit NDT Radiographers at their prestigious site in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire. Location: Chalgrove, Oxfordshire
Hours of work: This role will be shift based beginning January 2026 and will require applicants to work 4 days on and 4 days off within the hours 07:00 – 16:30 and will include a shift allowance of 20%. During the remainder of 2025 applicants will be working the regular hours of 08:00 – 16:45 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 12:00 on Fridays, a shift allowance will not be included.
NDT Radiographer Responsibilities:
* Perform radiography using DR (Digital Radiography) and CT (Computed Tomography) for detection of anomalies and incorrect assembly of components/Assemblies.
* Leak Testing - Measuring the rate of escapement of helium from cartridges using a mass spectrometer.
* Conform to, Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, Explosive Safety, Audits and Procedures.
* Create and drive a culture of continuous improvement using the 5S process.
* Work with Production, Engineering and Quality to overcome technical issues.
* The successful candidate:
o Level 1 Radiographer ASNT Certification
o Experience in similar NDT roles.
o Using a digital x-ray system.
o Experience in self-inspection.
o Reading and understanding Engineering drawings and relevant documentation.
o Understanding and interpretation of relevant test ATPs, QAI and relevant x-ray techniques.
o Qualified to NAS410
