A high-performing secondary school in Bramhall is looking to appoint a dedicated Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time role for the full academic year and offers an excellent opportunity to develop your classroom skills while supporting students with numeracy and problem-solving.
Working alongside experienced Maths teachers, you’ll play a vital role in helping students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, offering 1:1 support and leading small group interventions to raise attainment and confidence. The role will also involve supporting pupils with SEND or those preparing for GCSE Maths exams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in Maths lessons and reinforce key concepts for individuals and small groups
* Deliver structured interventions to support pupils struggling with numeracy
* Help students build confidence and develop problem-solving skills
* Support pupils with additional needs to access learning effectively
* Gain hands-on experience and insight into teaching practices

* Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
