Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FOH Supervisor to oversee front-of-house operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional service, and extensive experience in restaurant or hotel settings. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering an outstanding guest experience. The FOH Supervisor will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of service, managing daily operations, and supporting team development to foster a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service delivery and uphold company standards.
* Oversee food preparation and serving processes, ensuring quality and presentation meet established guidelines.
* Assist with food safety compliance, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
* Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
* Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to optimise workflow during shifts.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
* Conduct training sessions for new staff members on service protocols, safety standards, and hospitality best practices.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area in accordance with health regulations.
* Support the recruitment process by participating in interviews and onboarding new team members.
* Assist in inventory management for service supplies and organise stock replenishment as needed.
Experience
* Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
* Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards.
* Experience in serving guests with professionalism and courtesy across various hospitality settings.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
* Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of hospitality industry regulations, including health and safety compliance.
