This is not a “keep-the-seat-warm” role. This is about ownership, influence, and leading from the front.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Architect, you’ll take the reins on your own projects from concept through delivery, acting as a trusted point of contact for clients while steering a full, multi-disciplinary design team. You’ll be based in the Belfast office, working closely with colleagues who value collaboration, accountability, and doing great work without unnecessary drama.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading projects end-to-end, from early design through technical delivery
* Managing client relationships with confidence and credibility
* Coordinating and leading full design teams (consultants, contractors, stakeholders)
* Producing and overseeing high-quality technical drawings and documentation
* Contributing to a growing practice with exciting, diverse work across Ireland
What You’ll Bring
* Minimum 5 years’ experience at Senior Architect level
* Strong technical capability with demonstrable project delivery experience
* Experience running your own projects and leading design teams
* Excellent client-facing and communication skills
* Chartered Architect status with ARB / RIBA / RIAI
Desirable (nice-to-haves, not deal-breakers)
* Conservation
* NEC accreditation
Working Pattern
* Office-based role in Belfast
* Monday–Thursday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
* Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm (yes, early finish — because balance matters)
