Disability Confident Advisor – Papworth Trust are looking for an Disability Confident Advisor to join their team in the Cambridge / Huntingdon area in this part-time, permanent hybrid role.

About the role:
As an Disability Confident Advisor to build and maintain strong relationships with employers and stakeholders and providing expert guidance and support throughout the Disability Confident accreditation process. 22.5 hours per week with flexibility for days/times worked.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Engage and Support Employers: Build relationships with employers and stakeholders, offering guidance on the Disability Confident scheme and supporting them through all three accreditation levels.
Promote Disability Confident: Represent the Trust at events, deliver presentations, and advocate for the benefits of the scheme to enhance employer awareness and engagement.
Monitor and Report Impact: Track and report the outcomes of employer involvement in Disability Confident, including KPI contributions and organisational-level impact.
Collaborate Internally: Work with internal teams to uphold Disability Confident Leader standards, contribute to reaccreditation efforts, and support cross-functional initiatives (e.g. fundraising and volunteering).
Ensure Compliance and Safety: Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures, reporting any concerns or incidents in line with policy.
About you:
As an Disability Confident Advisor, we are seeking a confident and engaging individual with a genuine passion for people. Must excel at networking, presenting, and building strong relationships. You will bring hands-on experience with the Disability Confident scheme and are comfortable guiding employers through all three accreditation levels. With strong report-writing skills, you can clearly communicate tailored recommendations that help organisations become more inclusive and accessible.
