Are you an experienced and driven Financial Accountant ready to take on a dynamic and rewarding role? We're seeking a motivated individual to support our Financial Controller and make a real impact on our growing organisation.
The Role
As a Financial Accountant, you'll be the backbone of our accounting operations, handling day-to-day bookkeeping, invoice processing, and journal entries. You'll play a vital role in preparing management accounts, trial balances, and cash forecasts while gaining valuable experience in project accounting for our exciting engineering and construction projects.
Your Responsibilities:
* Manage financial records and prepare timely, accurate reports.
* Assist in creating monthly management accounts, including Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss Accounts, and payroll preparation.
* Reconcile accounts, prepare VAT returns, and ensure compliance with CIS regulations.
* Support project accounting tasks such as invoicing customers, processing payments to subcontractors, and compiling cost statements.
What We're Looking For:
1. Qualifications: AAT qualified (or equivalent) or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (minimum AAT level).
