Road Freight Forwarder
Location: Warrington
Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:30 - 18:00
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to 35,000 DOE

The Role
We're looking for an experienced Road Freight Forwarder to take ownership of our domestic and international road freight operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring timely, efficient, and compliant movement of goods across the UK and Europe.
What You'll Be Doing
* Coordinate end-to-end road freight shipments across the UK and Europe
* Manage transport bookings, customs requirements, and delivery schedules
* Liaise with hauliers, clients, and overseas agents to ensure smooth operations
* Monitor shipments proactively and handle any issues or delays
* Ensure all documentation and compliance standards are met
* Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and carriers
Requirements
* 3+ years of UK-based freight forwarding experience, with a focus on road transport
* Strong knowledge of customs procedures, European road freight regulations, and Incoterms
* Confident in managing full-load and groupage shipments from booking to delivery
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Proficiency in logistics systems and transport documentation
