Responsibilities
* Achieve and maintain certification for fire door repair maintenance tasks.
* Deliver health and safety compliance at all times to protect yourself, colleagues and others.
* Deliver a high standard of work within expected timescales and standards.
* Communicate all relevant details to the client, planning team or team leaders in a timely manner.
* Attend stakeholder meetings to discuss the safe system of work and assist in developing scope of works.
* Comprehend and comply with all company policies and procedures.
* Carry out reactive, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), or project duties when instructed by helpdesk and supervisor.
* Perform ad‑hoc duties, including but not limited to painting, plastering and patch repairs.
* Identify areas for additional work within and outside contractual requirements and report these promptly to team leader or line management.
Qualifications
* Time served Joiner.
* Fire Door maintenance & Installation qualification (favourable).
* IOSH Working Safely certificate.
* Full clean driving licence.
* Experience working in a healthcare environment (preferred).
* Ability to provide DNA sample for the Staff Elimination Database as required at SARC (Rainbow).
