Are you an experienced Mechanical Site Manager with a background in delivering low-carbon technologies and complex mechanical systems? We’re working with a leading M&E contractor on an exciting opportunity based on a high-profile healthcare site in Wolverhampton.
?? The Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing the installation and coordination of mechanical systems including:
* Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
* Solar PV
* District/Communal Heat Networks
?? Environment:
This project is set within a live healthcare environment, so experience working on hospital or healthcare-related projects is highly desirable. You will ensure works are completed safely, to spec, and within programme timelines.
? Key Responsibilities:
* Site management of all mechanical works
* Coordination of subcontractors and suppliers
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and site regulations
* Progress reporting to the Project Manager
* Quality assurance and snagging
?? Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager
* Background in renewable energy or low-carbon projects (ASHP, solar, heat networks)
* Strong leadership and coordination skills
* Experience in healthcare or live environments (preferred)
* SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant H&S certifications
?? Start Date:
* July 2025
* Ongoing contract with strong potential for extension
