Are you a dynamic Senior Architect with an innovative portfolio to match? Are you looking to gain experience across a range of UK and global projects?Benoy’s Aviation Team is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Architect to join them.
As a Senior Architect you manage mid-scale, or aspects of large-scale architectural projects through all aspects of design and development. In return, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, structured career path and a fun and sociable company culture.
What we’re looking for:
* You are a talented designer, with a portfolio that showcases great creativity and innovative thinking.
* You have experience of successfully delivering aviation projects through all work stages.
* You have experience managing small teams.
* With strong organisational and supervisory skills, you have a proven ability to manage projects and people to deliver great results.
* A strong communicator, you caneffectively engage internal and external stakeholders.
* You are proficient in computer applications commonly used within your discipline – Revit and sketch up are preferred.
* You are degree qualified in related design field or hold equivalent certification; professional registration is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Design/Technical Expertise
* Delivers high quality design and/or technical work, engaging others with their creative and innovative thinking.
Project Management
* Demonstrates a detailed understanding of the design process and project brief, coordinating the preparation of the project deliverables and other activities related to the project development.
* Takes responsibility for quality control and supervision of project deliverables.
* Coordinates and integrates the work of external contractors, suppliers and professionals.
Team Management
* Role models Benoy’s values and contributes towards a collaborative environment in which innovation is encouraged and best practice shared.
* Ability to work effectively with others to develop and resolve project issues.
* Ability to make complex decisions, weighing up a range of factors and implications.
* Builds a network across the business and seeks leadership opportunities by directing and supporting junior team members.
Client Relationships
* Develops effective relationships with clients and consultants.
* Operate independently in daily engagement with clients and stakeholders.
* Provide support to senior team members with key client presentations and represent Benoy in meetings as required.
Budget Control
* Takes responsibility for aspects of the project budget and liaises with stakeholders to ensure delivery.
* Seeks to develop a working understanding of cost control, fee charging and project finance, and considers how project fees are maximised without threat to client relationship and repeat work.
