Join our 10-week summer internship designed to develop your technical and business skills, preparing you for a graduate role. This role is intended to start on Monday, June 15, 2026, and conclude on Friday, August 21, 2026. Please note that these dates may be adjusted based on business needs. Role Responsibilities Design & Engineering: Take on project responsibilities, assisting with the preparation of engineering designs for installation. Generate calculations, schedules, specifications, drawings, and technical reports. Specialist Software: Utilise specialist engineering and design software to inform the design process. Research: Conduct independent reading and research to ensure design accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Document Management: Ensure all document management requirements are met, including correct filing of documents and compliance with data management processes. Role Requirements Currently pursuing a BSc/BEng (or equivalent) in an appropriate engineering discipline. Basic working knowledge of CAD functionality. Understanding of key Health and Safety issues and legislation. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.). Ability to use IT-based calculation and spreadsheet software. Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. Experience or awareness of Power Systems is desirable.
