Job Description:
As a Cover Supervisor based in Greenwich, you will be responsible for overseeing classes during the short-term absence of teachers. Your primary duties will include:
Job Duties:
1. Supervising and managing the classroom environment
2. Delivering pre-prepared lessons
3. Managing student behaviour and ensuring a positive learning atmosphere
4. Providing support to students in their learning activities
Required Qualifications:
A valid DBS check
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs including English and Maths
Experience:
Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to manage a classroom effectively
7. Basic understanding of educational principles
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching Assistant qualification
Working Conditions:
You will be working in a school environment, following the school's policies and procedures. The role may involve some level of physical activity and standing for extended periods.
