Location: Warrington (office-based with site travel as required)
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (DOE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and forward-thinking construction consultancy delivering projects across a range of sectors. This role offers the chance to work on varied schemes while gaining exposure across both pre and post-contract stages.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of projects, working closely with senior team members while continuing to develop professionally within a supportive environment.
Quantity Surveyor - Job Overview
The successful candidate will support the delivery of full quantity surveying services across multiple projects, from initial feasibility through to final account.
You will play a key role in cost management, procurement, and commercial reporting, while building strong relationships with clients and project teams.
Key duties include:
Deliver pre and post-contract quantity surveying services across multiple projects
* Prepare cost plans, feasibility studies and Bills of Quantities
* Assist with procurement, tendering and subcontractor management
* Manage valuations, variations and final accounts
* Support commercial reporting including CVRs and cash flow forecasts
* Assist in preparing claims, extensions of time and loss & expense submissions
* Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants throughout project lifecycles
* Attend meetings and contribute to successful project delivery
Quantity Surveyor - Job Requirements
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
* Proven experience within a contractor or consultancy environment
* Strong understanding of pre and post-contract duties
* Experience in procurement, cost management and contract administration
* Commercially aware with good negotiation skills
* Strong communication and organisational ability
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Able to manage multiple projects and work both independently and within a team
