We’re seeking amitted Outreach Worker to join the team in Rochdale, supporting people who have experienced homelessness and remain within the system. You’ll work with a small butplex caseload, requiring strong knowledge of local housing and support processes, and the ability to navigate multi‑agency partnerships effectively.
This is a temporary role until early 2026, with the chance to apply for the permanent position.

The position involves lone working and close collaboration with partner agencies, so previous experience in the field is essential — we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
An Enhanced DBS check is required.
Your new role
1. Provide direct outreach support to individuals withplex needs.
2. Manage a small but intensive caseload, ensuring continuity of care.
3. Navigate housing, benefits, and social service processes to secure support.
4. Liaise with local agencies, health services, and housing providers.
5. Maintain accurate records and ensurepliance with safeguarding and reporting requirements.
What you'll need to succeed

7. Strong understanding of housing/homelessness legislation and local processes.
8. Ability to manageplex cases with empathy and resilience.
9. Excellentmunication and advocacy skills.
10. Organised, reliable, and able to work independently within a supportive team.
