This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of soft services at the school, ensuring site cleanliness, event setups, and support services are maintained to the highest standards while managing a small team, monitoring compliance, and identifying cost-effective improvements.
The ideal candidate will have a leadership background in soft services. You would come from an education background but candidates with a different industry background are encouraged to apply. Candidate do need s proven track record in organising and running events.

The role
Oversee and coordinate daily soft services operations across the school site, ensuring all areas, events, and activities are set up and maintained to a high standard.
Line-manage two Soft Services Assistants, creating and assigning daily job sheets, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for soft services-related issues, coordinating planned and reactive tasks via the help desk and CAFM system.
* Manage risk assessments, health and safety compliance, and ensure all services are delivered in line with current regulations.
* Carry out basic maintenance and repair tasks, escalating technical issues to the hard services team when necessary.
* Monitor and manage soft FM KPIs and service-level agreements (SLAs), implementing improvements to meet or exceed performance targets.
* Identify and implement cost-effective service delivery opportunities while maintaining high standards of site presentation and cleanliness.
The person:
Candidate would have a soft services background
Have had some leadership experience
Come from an education background would be ideal but candidate from hotels/ events would be considered
Candidate will have a proven track record in organising and running events
