We are creating temporary positions within our Skills for Life programme, funded by the Scottish Government, to support parents in gaining training, skills, and experience within North Ayrshire Council.
1. These placements will last for 26 weeks.
2. They require 20 hours per week.
3. Paid at the Real Living Wage, £12.60 per hour.
Eligibility: To be considered, you must be a parent with dependent children living with you, a resident of North Ayrshire, and currently unemployed.
Interviews: Will be scheduled after successful application and eligibility verification. All successful applicants will be notified within a week after the advert closes. Interviews are scheduled for May.
Registration: As part of the programme, you will register with the We Work for Families Project to verify eligibility, which involves providing ID and meeting support services.
Pre-Employment Training: One week of training will be delivered by the Care at Home team before the start date.

* NAC Resourcing ID and PVG paperwork
In-Work Support: Mentoring and support will be available throughout the placement.
ID Requirements: At the interview, you must provide ID documents such as a Passport or full birth certificate, proof of N.I. Number, and two proof of address documents.
