Job Description
3. Manage a heavy ER caseload including misconduct, grievances, harassment, attendance, and other sensitive issues
4. Support and coach managers through formal processes, including drafting correspondence and facilitating mediation
5. Contribute to ongoing Employment Tribunal (ET) cases and ensure compliance with employment law
6. Act as the main People & Culture contact for business stakeholders, providing guidance and updates to senior leaders
7. Lead monthly stakeholder HR meetings, focusing on data, insights, and ER case discussions
8. Maintain continuity of HR support during staff absences and collaborate with internal HR specialists
9. Operate in a fast-paced, high-scrutiny environment requiring resilience, confidence, and strong relationship-building skills
10. Support organisational culture initiatives while ensuring HR processes and best practice are consistently applied
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Business Partner should have:
11. Strong HR Business Partnering experience with a proven track record in Employee Relations
12. Extensive hands-on ER casework, including managing complex, sensitive, or contentious HR matters
13. Experience supporting Employment Tribunal processes and ensuring compliance with employment law
14. CIPD Level 7 (or working towards) with Chartered/Fellow membership or equivalent experience
15. SC Security Clearance is advantageous
16. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
17. Ability to analyse and interpret HR data to inform decisions and drive improvement
18. Experience implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives
19. Capability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
