This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Handler to join a highly successful Corporate & Commercial team based in Maidstone. You’ll manage and nurture relationships with a portfolio of corporate and commercial clients, providing expert advice and ensuring exceptional service across all aspects of the client journey.
Key Responsibilities
Manage renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business activity effectively
Review client documentation to ensure accurate and comprehensive presentation for quotations
Liaise with underwriters, clients, and third parties to ensure the best outcomes
Prepare and maintain high-quality market documentation and secure necessary approvals
Support senior colleagues with client projects and renewal strategies
Maintain accurate records and data to ensure compliance with company procedures
Contribute to team meetings and business progress updates
Build strong, professional relationships internally and externally
About You
Experience in corporate or mid-commercial account handling is essential
Strong knowledge of insurance principles, regulation, and the wider market
Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
Organised, detail-focused, and adaptable under pressure
Positive, proactive, and customer-focused, with a drive to deliver results
Team player who enjoys collaboration and continuous learning
The Offer
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (DOE)
Hybrid working: 3 days in the Maidstone office, 2 from home
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
