Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
A key role in managing commercial and contractual aspects of projects, from tender to execution. We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a pivotal part in ensuring the efficient management of costs, contracts, and commercial risks, contributing to successful project outcomes.
This position will support the Bid and Project Delivery teams to oversee the administration of monthly payments, prepare and submit Compensation Event quotations, maintain contract management systems, and provide valuable assistance to the Project Manager in interpreting the contract and works information.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of applications, certificates, and invoices to maintain project financial health.
* Demonstrate clear entitlement principles when preparing and submitting Compensation Event quotations.
* Maintain control of contract management systems, ensuring all contract data is accurately updated and easily accessible for project tracking and reporting.
* Serve as the primary liaison with client procurement and commercial teams throughout the contract lifecycle.
* Support the Project Manager in managing project risks through the Early Warning Notice process.
* Oversee and audit the Change Control procedure to ensure proper documentation and tracking of changes.
* Process new Purchase Orders via the CRC process and collaborate with the Document Control Centre to ensure compliance.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* HNC in an industry-related subject or similar qualification is essential.
* Proven track record in a Quantity Surveyor role is mandatory.
* Basic understanding of contract administration, cost control, and schedule management is required.
* Experience in working with contract management tools is essential.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to manage client relationships effectively.
