Overview
Senior Material Scheduler at AluK, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that the right materials are in the right place at the right time. You’ll work closely with production, warehouse, procurement, and dispatch teams to maintain seamless stock availability, optimise storage space, and keep customer orders on schedule.
Responsibilities
* Setting the overall capacity and production plans of each work station in line with company forecasts and team capacity.
* Reviewing forecasts to ensure optimum levels across all product categories, using historical data and forecast information.
* Ensuring the accuracy of all works & purchase orders, including costs and completion dates.
* Overseeing the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process for procurement of components and stock items.

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* A proactive, collaborative approach — you’ll work across multiple teams to keep things moving smoothly.
* The confidence to take ownership and make decisions that keep production on track.
* Experience within a manufacturing environment with made to stock and made to order production.
* Ability to build, maintain and influence collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Able to prioritise and manage your own workload.
