Description
* Oversee daily accounting and finance operations for a dedicated client portfolio, ensuring accuracy and high service standards.
* Prepare and review financial reports for clients, ensuring full compliance with relevant standards and deadlines.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes across assigned clients efficiently.
* Provide clear financial insights and recommendations to support both client decision‑making and internal strategic discussions.
* Ensure timely preparation and submission of client tax returns and regulatory filings.
* Work closely with directors to streamline processes, deliver advisory support, and enhance overall client experience.
* Monitor client budgets and control costs to help meet their organisational objectives.
* Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, supporting their development and maintaining strong team performance.
Profile
A successful Accounts Manager should have:
* Strong ability to produce accurate financial reports and provide meaningful insights to clients and directors.
* ACCA, ACA, or equivalent qualification.
* Proficiency with accounting software and modern financial tools.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
* Ideally, proven experience managing client portfolios and overseeing end‑to‑end financial operations.
* Strong leadership capabilities, with experience guiding and supporting junior team members.
