Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure
Location - West Yorkshire
What you will be doing:
* Work on infrastructure projects and frameworks, ideally based locally, with consideration for relocation support.
* Create a safe working environment.
* Produce subcontract documentation, negotiate terms, prices, and schedules.
* Manage subcontract packages, including assessments and change management.
* Issue and manage contractual notices with clients and subcontractors.
* Handle change management and produce compensation event quotations.
* Prepare and submit monthly applications to clients.
* Coordinate with site teams to ensure proper record-keeping.
* Generate monthly reports and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).
* Maintain detailed cost plans and forecasts using Oracle and other systems.
* Analyze expenditure reports.
* Attend weekly progress and risk meetings.
* Maximize value and profit, supporting estimating and bidding teams.
About You:
* Understanding of standard contract forms.
* Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, CEMAR, Oracle.
* Knowledge of construction processes.
* Excellent time and outcome management skills.
* Professional qualification (e.g., MCIOB, MRICS), preferably full membership or working towards it.
* Relevant degree or experience in commercial environments.
* Experience with large or multiple schemes.
* CSCS card.
