About the role
As a Hospitality Assistant, you'll work in our Partner (employee) dining room providing food to our Partners. You'll take pride in your food preparation and presentation standards and ensure the best catering experience. You will also support other catering tasks, including stock replenishment, storage of deliveries, food preparation, and pot washing.
Note: Due to working time regulations, applicants must be 18 years or over.
Key Responsibilities
Working in a fast-paced catering environment, your daily responsibilities will include:
1. Working as part of a team to ensure smooth catering service.
2. Providing positive Partner interactions with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
3. Following procedures and instructions in accordance with the 'Health and Safety at Work Act' and 'Food Safety Act'.
4. Ensuring stock is stored appropriately and replenished.
5. Reducing food wastage by careful stock rotation.
6. Using your initiative to resolve operational issues promptly.
7. Maintaining personal hygiene standards.
8. Providing prompt service when working on a cashless till.
9. Maintaining vending machines by cleaning and restocking.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Previous catering experience.
* Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Food Safety Level 2 & 3.
* Additional Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
